What areas do you cover with delivery and installation?
We cover most of South Wales. Including as far West as Carmarthen and as far East as Newport. If you're not sure if we deliver to your area then please get in touch.
Will my shed be delivered flat packed?
Yes. It will be constructed in the form of panels in our workshop, and then delivered on site ready to be installed by our skilled fitters. We require sufficient access to deliver and install safely. Please contact us if you are concerned with regards to suitable access.
Why don't you build cheaper sheds like the DIY and gardening stores?
Our sheds are built to last. We don't use cheap overlap feather edge boards which tend to be a sawn finish. Sawn timber absorbs more water which in turn results in a shorter shelf life of your product. All of our sheds are constructed using planed tongue and groove redwood timber and treated with a high quality preservative which prevents wood rot and decay.
Do you have a show area where we can come and see your products?
Yes, we have a modest show area in our Swansea unit. We are happy for customers to come and see our products. Showroom opening hours are 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively contact us to arrange a viewing.
How often should I treat my garden building?
We recommend treating your shed at least once a year with a suitable preservative. It will not only give your shed a nice healthy look but keep it in good shape for years to come!
Will I need a base for my garden building?
Unfortunately we do not fit bases for garden buildings. We can only supply and fit a garden building where a suitable base is already in place. A level and solid base the correct size will be required. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure such a base is installed prior to Woodpecker Garden Buildings commencing with installation. Please contact us if you have any concerns and require any further advice regarding this.
Do you fit electrics?
Although we offer installation of electrical components such as lighting and sockets it is not possible for us to quote on electric runs from the fuse board of the main house to the garden building. All of our customers are made aware of this at the quoting stage and it is the customers responsibility to ensure that the armoured cable is run prior to us installing on the day.
Will my product have a guarantee?
Yes all of our products come with a guarantee. Please see our guarantee page for further info.
What is included in the price?
All our prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. The prices stated on the order page when you placed your order are the final prices. They include all price components including all applicable taxes. We have flexible payment terms. You have the option to pay in full or to spread the cost by paying a 50% deposit on ordering and the remaining 50% upon delivery.
How can I pay for my product?
We accept payment by bank transfer or credit / debit cards registered to the UK. We accept the following cards: Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Solo and Visa Credit. To ensure that your credit or debit card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases.
